Oyo APC UK Pays Tribute to Late Queen Elizabeth-II, Hails Monarch’s Legacies.
The newly inaugurated Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Oyo state chapter in United Kingdom(UK), Hon. Bayo Amusat-Gbenla has paid tribute to Her Majesty, Late Queen Elizabeth-11. He described Her Majesty as a monarch, who was supportive to African countries, and world at large.
Hon. Gbenla hailed late monarch and her legacies, yesterday, while featuring on a radio programme monitored in Ibadan
Gbenla commiserated with the United Kingdom, royal family and commonwealth, entirely, on the demise of the longest reigned British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth-II.
Gbenla maintained that,”The people of the world will miss the great monarch immensely.
Speaking further, the chairman said,”The diasporans, especially, Nigerians know the impact Her majesty have on them, economically and politically.
“Let me use this opportunity, on behalf of all members of Oyo state APC UK chapter, to pray for the soul of the legendary Queen who was instrumental to the independence of our dear county, Nigeria. Also, I wish the new monarch, King Charles III long life and prosperous reign.
Gbenla admonished King Charles III to pick the imperial reins from where her late Mother, Queen Elizabeth-11 dropped it.
