Oyo APC Youth Leadership: As I Bow Out, My Commitment to Our Great Party Remains Strong | By Prince John Aremu

Today, I bow out with deep gratitude, fulfilment, and an unwavering commitment to the progressive cause.

Serving as the Oyo State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been one of the greatest honours of my political journey. I have served this great party judiciously — with selflessness, sacrifice, and total dedication to our progressive ideology. Through challenging times and victorious moments, our shared belief in a better Oyo State and a stronger Nigeria kept us resolute.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who worked diligently with me throughout this journey.

To my dependable deputy, Sayo Fatoki, thank you for your loyalty, steadfastness, and consistent support. Leadership is lighter when loyalty is present, and you never wavered.

To all our party leaders across Oyo State, I am grateful for your guidance, cooperation, and trust.

My profound appreciation goes to the Honourable Afeez Bolaji Repete for his leadership and total support, especially in critical moments that shaped our journey.

I must especially acknowledge the immense support I received from Titi Gbadamosi and Sunday Dare during my emergence as State Youth Leader. Your belief in my capacity, your encouragement, and your political backing at that defining moment will always remain a significant part of my story. I do not take your confidence in me for granted.

To my political mother, Florence Ajimobi, thank you for your true love, mentorship, and motherly guidance. Your influence shaped not just my politics but my character.

As I reflect, I remember our late chairman, Isaac Omodewu. His dedication, passion for unity, and commitment to the party remain evergreen in our hearts. May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace.

Though today marks the end of my tenure as state youth leader, it does not mark the end of my service. I will continue to contribute my quota to the growth and success of the APC in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.

Once a progressive, always a progressive.

The journey continues.
