Oyo APC: Youth Lobby Group Meets ‘Bimbo Adekambi, Discusses Party’s Progress, Youth Inclusion.

Youth lobby group of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, led by the Front line Youth Advocate and Gender Equality Agitator, Hon. Titilope Gbadamosi, with other members from all geopolitical zones of the state, has today met with Former Oyo-State Finance Commissioner, Hon. Abimbola Adekambi at his Iyaganku office in Ibadan. The group discussed issues concerning the ongoing congress in the party, need for youth inclusion, among other sundry issues with the Oyo South Senatorial Hopeful, Adekanmbi.

In her submissions, Hon Titilope maintained that the youth constituency is ready to be saddled with responsibility as they have singlehandedly fought to bring the party back from its dwindling state, taking risk unguided and unsolicited, better back to a viable position.

During the meeting, many areas of interests were deliberated upon, most importantly, the need to saddle younger generation with responsibilities. The youth emphasized their vibrancy and dynamism.

While discussing the forthcoming state Congress, they revealed that youths are having interests to present candidates for some key offices which include, but not limited, to Organizing Secretary, Youth Leader, Welfares Officer, Women Leader and Publicity Secretary.

While responding, the financial Guru, Hon Adekambi identified himself with youth. He lauded youth for their sacrifice and commitment geared towards the progress of the party.

Hon. Adekanmbi noted their demands and advised the youths to always be valuable and add value at any given opportunity, as such will open more doors of greater opportunities for their constituency.

The Illustrious son of Ibadan land from ward 2 of Ibadan Northeast Local Government Area, ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi promised that the youth matters will be presented at any forum where issues regarding the congress will be discussed. And he further assured group of positive feedbacks from party leadership.

At the meeting, which lasted for almost two hours, were Hon. Titi Gbadamosi, Prince Adéwálé Apọ́nmádẹ̀, Banji A Banji, Babajide Bolaji, Olowofela Christianah, Olawuyi Debo, ‘Kunle Adesiyan, Taiwo Olujide, Oloja Olanrewaju, Otunba Ibraheem among others.
