Oyo Central 2023: Dr Yunus Akintunde Wins APC Senatorial Ticket.
Dr Yunus Akintunde, late former governor Abiola Ajimobi’s works and transport commissioner, has won the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Oyo central.
Akintunde defeated his close rival, Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen, in a keenly contested election with 238 to 176 votes.
Wakil Oyedemi had 43, Bimbo Kolade 30 while Kazeem Kolawole Raji had 5.
