Oyo Central: 3-in-1, Senator Akintunde Commissions Hospital, Flags Off New Projects, Unveils Mega Empowerment for Constituents

The flag off of Aroro Makinde Road at Akinyele Local Government on erosion control and road rehabilitation kicked off the epoch-making activities early in the day, where the hosted communities hailed the several commitments of Senator Yunus Akintunde on serial projects including street lights, school rehabilitation, ICT centres, and various human capacity development programs similar to several of such already commissioned in all the eleven local governments within the district.
Oyo West Local Government later hosted the flag of another road and the commissioning of a first-class 20-bed primary health care centre under the auspices of the office of Mrs. Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals SDG.
On the final lapse of the program today was the Mega Empowerment program for artisans and several constituents of the eleven local governments within Oyo Central Senatorial District, where items ranging from sewing machines, grinding machines, welding tools, automobile mechanic tools, farmers sprayers, and bags of fertiliser were distributed to artisan groups and constituents of the district.
Party leaders, clerics, traditional rulers, and eminent personalities present at the events took turns to express appreciation and commendation on the quality representation and leadership provided by Senator Yunus Akintunde, especially on legislative functions, impactful projects, and human capacity development.
Alhaji Olaide Abass, Chairman of Oyo State All Progressives Congress APC, leading other State Party Executive members, Hon Akeem Adeyemi Skimeh, a Prince of Oyo Town and currently a serving member of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, and Bishop Ayo Ladigbolu, who on behalf of Barrister Bayo Lawal, Oyo State Deputy Governor, commissioned the multimillion Naira Health Centre, were among several eminent personalities at the events.
Senator Akintunde was thankful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing the platform for him to achieve so much this far just within the last sixteen months after his inauguration at the Senate.
“I am proud to give a comprehensive account of my stewardship, showcasing the delivery of several projects, which is unprecedented in the annals of representation of Oyo Central Senatorial District in the Nigeria Senate, while I assure my constituents and the good people of Oyo State to “Do More” and surpass expectations.” He concluded.
