Human Capacity Development: Senator Akintunde Rolls Out Another Mega Empowerment, Capacity Development Progs.
Dr. Yunus Akintunde, the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District at the Senate in the National Assembly, has concluded plans and arrangements to provide support to constituents and various artisan groups in the next round of Mega Empowerment and Capacity Development programmes scheduled to hold on Monday, November 4.
As planned, the programme will attract special empowerment for various artisans, including tailors, automobile mechanics, welders, farmers, and traders across the eleven local governments within the Oyo Central Senatorial District, who will be receiving items including sewing machines, working tools and equipment, grinding machines, welding tools, sprayers, bags of fertiliser, and working grants for traders.
It would be recalled that Senator Akintunde has supported about 250 tailors early in the year with training and sewing machines, while he has also just concluded on training young people on GSM phone repair and online networking and marketing techniques, providing them working tools, iPads, and working grants for participants through a collaborative programme in his capacity and notable donor agencies.
