Oyo Central: Akintunde Empowers Hundreds of Farmers, Skimeh Donates Laptops to 50 Youths.

Oyo Central Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Dr Yunus Abiodun Akintunde has on Monday empowered hundreds of farmers with farm equipment. The mega empowerment took place at Oba Adeyemi Arcade, Ode Remo, Oyo.
The beneficiaries of the empowerment program were drawn across Oyo Central Senatorial District: Oyo West, Oyo East, Afijio, Atiba, Ogo Oluwa, Surulere, Oluyole, Akinyele, Lagelu, Egbeda and Ona Ara local Governments
While speaking, Dr Akintunde drummed support for all APC candidates and emphasized the importance of having the principal position in the House of Representatives, especially, from Oyo Federal Constituency.
The beneficiaries of the empowerment programmes expressed their satisfaction with Dr Yunus Akintunde and promised to vote him and all APC candidates in the coming election, noting that “Only Tanna Tanna Yunus is contesting for the post of the senator in Oyo Central and we have asked his brother, the opposition counterpart, in person of Bisi Ilaka and his younger brother, Faosey Nurudeen to join hands in making him victorious come Saturday, February 25.
Concurrently, Member, House of Representatives, representing Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West Federal Constituency, Honourable Akeem Adeyemi popularly known as Skimeh also empowered 50 youths with brand new HP laptops.
While speaking, the engineering luminary and chieftain of APC, Engr Idris Adeoye lauded Dr Akintunde for his efforts and canvassed votes for all APC candidates in the coming election.
In attendance were Chief Yinka Folarin, The Senatorial Chairman, Dr Joshua Oyebamiji “Atiku”, U ‘N’ Us Coordinator, Hon. Abiodun Adeyemo Biddy, Hon. Mojisola , Prince Adeleke, Hon Olawale Waheed Otunba, Alhaja Tanimowo Sherifat, Comr Debo Adeniran the head of the farmers, Balogun Agbe of Oyo State, other farmers’ association executives, the APC party chieftains and others.
