Oyo Central: Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen Begins Free PVC Registration Drive.
In accordance with Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC’s online registration modalities for Continuous Voters Registration(PV), Hon. Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen is set to commence free PVC registration drive.
This is contained in a statement by Mr Inaolaji Akinloye, FON’s Media team coordinator who disclosed their readiness and preparations to kick start the program for all residents across the 11 local government areas in Oyo Central Senatorial District.
The 11 local governments include; Lagelu, Akinyele, Egbeda, Ona Ara, Oluyole, Oyo West, Oyo East, Atiba, Afijio, Ogo Oluwa, Surulere.
According to Inaolaji,”The intention of Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen to organize this free registration drive is as a result of the love of his people who do not have access to internet facilities, which is a key issue being addressed by FON, based on his popular ‘Ife Ilu’ mantra.
“The idea of this program is to ease the stress our people do undergo in the course of capturing and registering their permanent voters card.
“This exercise is open for all categories of people as stated by INEC in Oyo Central Senatorial district, the people who have not been registered before, those who have lost their PVC’s and those who are intending to change their voting location.
“We want everyone to get involved in the ongoing INEC voters registration process regardless of what informed the aparthy.
“In addition to the above, the PVC registration exercise being sponsored by Hon. Faozey will be on ground from ward to ward on Monday to Saturday.
“For smooth running of the program, all concerned residents across 11 local governments are enjoined to troop out en masse for capturing and registration.
