Oyo Central: Senator Akintunde Enhances Human Capital Development, Empowers 1000 Constituents on ICT, GSM Phone Repair

The Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Dr. Yunus Akintunde has facilitated another set of training programmes to consolidate his commitment to Human Capital Development as part of his developmental process within the constituency.

The human capital development training programmes focused on ICT and GSM Phone Repair designed to empower 1000 participants on skill acquisition in information and computer technology will be holding for selected participants already contacted from the eleven Local Government Areas within the Oyo Central Senatorial District on a zonal basis.

The event already on going will attract qualified consultants and experts in the ICT  and GSM Phone Repair has been scheduled to hold by 9am daily between Monday  September 30, and Friday  October 4, at the various zonal designated centers at Ibadan outer city zone, Oyo Zone and Ogbomoso Zone.

Senator Akintunde is passionate about human capital development and he is targeting direct beneficiaries on specific skill acquisition programmes for empowerment, a complete departure from the usual all comers generic empowerment programmes.

In a release made available to the Media through Kunle Olatunji the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senator Akintunde, he expressed his optimism on the benefits of his approach on thuman capital development training and empowerment programs.

“Our commitment to the people on human capacity development is critical and important. We will not compromise on quality with genuine intentions to improve lives of our constituents in this regard”.

“No doubt this unique approach of identifying relevant and specific training programmes will serve our people much better on skill acquisition and empowerment than the usual all comers generic, unspecified empowerment programmes of the past years that have not yielded expected results”.

Hon. Biodun Adeyemo, the Project and Programme Coordinator of Senator Yunus Akintunde, Hon Femi Akintunde the Community Relations Coordinator of Ibadan outer city aides of Senator Akintunde among several other notable leaders have expressed commendation on this unique initiative of Senator Akintunde and have appealed to the selected participants  to be punctual and take full advantage of these opportunities and more of such in days ahead which is more rewarding than expectations of financial inducements and occasional personal gifts mostly expected by the people.

Poised to “DO MORE”, Senator Yunus Akintunde has promised to design and implement several of such Human Capital Development programmes targeting direct beneficiaries to enhance their skills and capacity for personal and financial economic growth.
