Oyo: Ibadan City APC Chairmen Hail State Exco over Leadership Summit

The Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan City have commended the leadership of the party in Oyo state over the summit organised by the State Working Committee of the APC on Tuesday, October 14, at the Bible Guest House, Samonda, Ibadan.
The party chieftains expressed gratitude to the Alhaji Moshood Olayide Abas-led executive for organising the much-needed summit at the appropriate time to set the party on the right track ahead of the 2027 general election.

The shows of love and unity by the party leaders across the state to ensure the party emerges victorious in the 2027 general election and the restoring of discipline in the party and transparency in primaries across all boards were well appreciated by the chairmen.

The number one citizen of the party in the local governments lauded the party leadership on their efforts to unite the party, strengthen internal democracy, fight against misuse of the social media platforms by the party members, and form collegiate leadership across the geopolitical zones, among others.
The chairmen expressed their pleasure with the position of the party on cautioning party aspirants that are making inflammatory statements and the bold step the leadership in the state embarked on by approaching the national leadership of the party over the unfair treatment of Oyo APC, especially regarding appointments and other reward systems.
