Oyo: Let’s Embrace Peace, Unity – MHR Hopeful, Mutahir Olanrewaju Fasola “MOF’23” Charges Oyo APC Members.

Member, House of Representatives Hopeful, from Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, on the platform of All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo State, Honourable Mutahir Olanrewaju Fasola popularly known as “Innocenty” (MOF ’23) has urged members of his party, APC to shun their differences and start promoting unity and peace in order to achieve progress and record landslide victory, in the forthcoming National Convention, Party Primaries and 2023 general elections.

In his “Call of Unity”, Hon. Fasola stated that,”Problems within any party can prevent party members from having peace of minds, living happily, and emulating concerned attitude. Promoting peace in a party is an extraordinary challenge, and it, often, requires the work and dedication of many party members. However, you can help to promote peace within the party by encouraging good relationships with your party members, learning more about your party’s history, and taking action to deal with problems.

“However, becoming more familiar with the party, getting to know individuals from many different backgrounds and walks of life within the party may give you a new perspective on the problems facing the party.

Regarding organization of the party, MOF ’23 further noted that,”If you want to raise awareness about problems facing our party and encourage peace in Oyo APC, adoption of a very useful ‘Grievances Redress Mechanism’ and organizing a peaceful event is a good option. Moreover, our great party need to unanimously unite some ward and local government members through a well organized redress event such as picnics, fence mending meeting and get together. Try planning a meeting and inviting some other ward members who are interested in making our party more peaceful and viable. Using the meeting to share your concerns and discuss possible solutions.

“Exploring volunteering opportunities is a great way to help our dear party APC, and it may also be a good way to promote peace. Any opportunity to better the party will allow us to meet new members and promote a sense of togetherness and cooperation within the party”, he added.

“In every society, there is need to promote party unity and understanding among members of the party. Without absolute unity, even the party constitution may not be able to shape the affairs of the party, and influence the lives of the party members effectively. This is undoubtedly why national unity is taught in almost every institution in the world. It is important to note that the absence of unity can lead to all sort of damage to Oyo APC”, he alerted.

While appealing to the Party leaders, Fasola said,”I hereby appeal to all stakeholders and gladiators within Oyo APC to shun personal interests and be an advocate for the party interest since the party supremacy would be generally acceptable”.

Continuing, he maintained that,”The beauty of a united APC in Oyo State will instigate victory in the general election come 2023, since the ruling People’s Democratic Party in the State is performing below average and the people of the state is highly interested in changing the baton.
