Oyo North: Again, Senator Buhari Trains, Empowers 100 Constituents with N10 Million

The senator representing the good people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Omotayo Abdulfatai, has empowered another set of 100 constituents with capacity-building training, startup packages, and certificates of participation.
The capacity-building training facilitated by Senator Buhari was held between Wednesday, 5th and Friday, 7th February, 2025, at Wilmarie Event Centre, Asaka, Okeho, Kajola Local Government Area.
Senator Buhari who collaborated with Industrial Arbitration Panel to put up the capacity building training for women in Oyo North in his remarks delivered by Alhaji Wasiu Oladimeji Dauda (Asusu) admonished the participants to make best use of the opportunity to get out of economic hardship that masses are experiencing in recent times in the country.
Senator Buhari identified the promotion of medium- and small-scale businesses as a way to boost Nigeria’s economy through per capita income accrued from profitable engagements of small and medium-scale business owners in the country.
He enjoined the constituents to support the federal government in its bid to produce employees of labour through its various empowerment programmes aimed at reducing poverty among Nigerians.
“With this type of opportunity, you can conveniently engage yourself in agribusinesses with a token of N100,000, and this can, within a very short time, multiply and turn to millions of naira,” Senator Buhari said.
“The certificates given to you also connote that you now have the authority to explore any of the areas of your interest from specialisations you are taught under this capacity building,” the lawmaker stressed.
Senator Buhari reaffirmed his unrelenting efforts to sustain training and retraining of people of Oyo North Senatorial District, particularly the youths, women, and widows, so that they can all become useful to themselves, their families, Oyo North, and Nigeria as a whole.
In his appreciation message on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr. Sulaimon Ishola from the Iseyin Local Government Area of the district thanked Senator Buhari for bringing worthwhile dividends of democracy to his people.
He advised the beneficiaries to continually support the legislator in his efforts to make Oyo North a first-class senatorial district with unparalleled and beneficial achievements in the country.
“Senator Buhari is representing us with the fear of God. He upholds the tenets of equality, equity, and justice, and so the tempo should be made to continue even beyond 2027,” Mr. Sulaimon submitted.
