Senator Buhari Omotayo Buhari, representing Oyo South Senatorial, is set to make another historical achievements by empowering 150/physically challenged constituents with wheel chairs worth millions of naira.
As it is contained in a press release issued by Senator Buhari’s media office and made available to pressmen today in Ogbomoso, “the event will take place on Saturday by 10:00am prompt at Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Ago-Are (BASEGA), Atisbo Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Senator Buhari, in the release, maintained that, “I’ve to shift the paradigm of my empowerment styles to the physically challenged people so that they can also have the sense of belonging as far as dividends of democracy are concerned.
Africano Trumpeters Newspaper learnt that the 150 constituents were drawn from the entire 13 Local Government Areas that made up Oyo North Senatorial District.
“The items are strictly for those constituents in my senatorial district who can neither stand up nor walk. With the Wheel Chairs, at least the mobility will become easier and faster”, Buhari hinted.
The lawmaker added that some others who are suffering from other challenges such as will also be empowered.
The Federal Legislator, Buhari stated that it is high time that the philanthropists offer themselves more to serving God through the physically challenged people and doing things that will make life worthy of living for them.
Senator Buhari assured that he will continue to make positive impacts on the lives of his constituents irrespective of their differences and preferences in every aspects of life.
