Oyo PDP: By God’s Grace, You Will Not Be Denied – Hon Ajibola Muraina Assures Party Faithful.

Hon Dr Ajibola Muraina, the Member representing Ibarapa Central/ Ibarapa North Federal Constituency in the 9th House of Representatives and one of the leaders of Oyo State People’s Democratic Party(PDP), on Saturday October 16, has assured the teeming members of the party in the state that by God’s grace, they will not be denied the benefits of their labour and service to the party.

The federal lawmaker who stated this at the Oyo State PDP state congress which held at Jogor Events Centre, Ibadan pointed out that the same delegates who participated in the 2017 state congress which ushered in the present PDP administration in Oyo State are here again to return the party to the path of justice and fairness.

In a statement made available to the press by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Olubunmi Sodipo, Hon Muraina while praying that by God’s grace, others will not eat the fruits of our labour, noted that in 2017, the Oyo State PDP state congress was held simultaneously at two venues and although others are reaping the benefits of it today, the delegates here and the teeming party faithful they represent, will reap the benefits of this one.

The congress which witnessed the accreditation of 2,859 delegates, recorded 2,712 votes to elect Hon Michael Okunlade as Chairman, Hon Odesola Babatunde as Secretary, Alh Bolatito Akinyemi as PRO and Asiwaju Adekola Adeoye as Youth Leader, amongst others.

Prominent leaders of Oyo State PDP at the state congress were Iba Oluyole, Chief Nureni Akanbi; Former House of Representatives Majority Leader, Hon Mulikat Adeola Akande; Alh Adebisi Olopoeyan; Former Deputy Governor, Alh Hazeem Gbolarumi, Business Magnate, Engr Femi Babalola among others.
