Oyo: Practising Surveyors Hold A Day Workshop, Discuss “Accuracy And Precision in Surveyor’s Integrity”.

Association of Private Practising Surveyors of Nigeria(APPSN), Oyo-State chapter has held a day workshop, today, Thursday at Nigerian Institution of Surveyors, NIS State Secretariat in Ibadan.

The workshop was organized by the Chairman, Surv.(Otunba) Oguntade Ademola Olufemi(mnis) in conjunction with entire members of Oyo APPSN.

The theme of the workshop is, “Accuracy and Precision in Surveyor’s Integrity”.

Topics of the lectures were, “Integrity as hallmark of a professional surveyors by Surv(Dr) JT Fadahunsi, Professional etiquette of a surveyor by Surv OB Ogunlami and requirements of SURCON as related to SG’s office in the state/departmental functions of the SG office in the state by Surv Adeoye Soji”.

In their respective speeches, Oyo-State NIS Chairman, Surv. (Prince) Aderemi Femi Kobiowu and Oyo-State APPSN Chairman, Surv. (Otunba) Ademola Oguntade maintained that surveying remained the bedrock of meaningful developments and they respectively emphasized “Accuracy and Precision in Surveyor’s Integrity” as the central heart of surveying professionalism.

Among dignitaries in attendance were Surv. (Prince) Aderemi Femi Kobiowu(fnis), Surv.(Otunba) Ademola Oguntade(mnis), Surv. Ogunlami,(fnis), Surv. K.K. Ajibike(fnis), Surv. Jinadu(fnis), Surv.
