Oyo-South: 10 Reasons APC Should Vote Kolapo Kola-Daisi As Senatorial Candidate

10 Reasons APC will vote Kolapo Kola-Daisi as Oyo-South senatorial candidate.

1. He has the strongest reasons to perform and these below are key amongst them:
   (i) His family name; he can’t afford to spoil it.
   (ii) His personal reputation and legacy; he can’t afford to spoil his own name too. In short, he has way much to lose compared to the other aspirants.
2. Another strong reason why he will perform is that, he is the youngest among the aspirants and this gives him impressive political potential and future. There’s no way Kola-Daisi will leave his blossoming career in banking to mess up politically and not perform well enough to lose the opportunities ahead of him as a public official or politician. If he performs well, he his young enough to go for higher positions. He knows this, the APC and its members also know this.
3. He is actually very competent at producing results at anything he does. In doubt? Just check his resume of accomplishments.
4. The strength of his family name; APC will bank on this as one of the key cards to win at the general elections, especially as they are going against PDP flagbearer and his incumbent Governor boss, Makinde. Kola-Daisi is one of the top 5 strongest families and family names in Ibadan. Ask anywhere in the state and across the nation; no one with right info will lie to you.
5. The young man is easily loved and has no people problem. In Yoruba, this is described as having “eran ìfé lára”. This is an ideal candidate to put on a ticket and on posters to win an election. You can’t hate Kolapo when you meet him. The fact is simple: PEOPLE LOVE HIM. This is because of the high Omoluabi behavior he shows despite his privileged background. He has deeply won the hearts of a lot among the party faithful with this.
6. In turn, he also loves people genuinely and always shows it through his generosity, listening ears and especially his character. Party members and leaders can attest to this as he is very humble, open and welcoming to anyone who crosses his path. They testify that Kolapo is always smiling no matter the issue, simply because he is just about the solution. This is why they now call him “Mr. Way Forward”, a character that says something interesting about his approach to interacting with people.
7. He is wealthy, from a wealthy background and he is not into politics to make money. The delegates and party members have been calling Kolapo Kola-Daisi the “safest bet” in the past months because they believe he is the only one they feel sure will really perform without the distraction or temptation of corruption.
8. Oyo South desperately needs responsible representation at the red chamber to bring the deserving dividends to the zone, having lacked it for years. The party faithful believe Kolapo Kola-Daisi is the one who can make this happen because of this reason number (7) above, plus his rich network of influence as a Kola-Daisi too.
9. Because his win will be a win for youthful participation and representation. Also, the APC wants to bank and reap from this; they want to be seen as a party who encourages youth participation and they have the ideal candidate to easily achieve that in the young and accomplished man. In addition, there’s a youth demography ready to vote en masse for Kolapo Kola-Daisi as they easily relate more with him than the old faces they’ve seen all these years.
10. He is an original Ibadan man, a very original son of the soil. There are no doubts or inconsistencies about his origin, and for this upcoming elections, this is a plus. ‘Ògidi omo Ìbàdàn ni’.

Finally, we are glad the APC sees all these reasons too and will do Oyo South a huge favour by giving us this young, fresh/new face and highly credible candidate on its ticket.
