Oyo South: Adekanmbi, Supporters Storm Ibarapa for Christmas Funfair, Set to Shake Ibadan Tomorrow for Another “Yuletide” Party(PHOTOS).

A leading Oyo South Senatorial Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in the state, come 2023, Honourable Abimbola Adekanmbi and his teeming supporters across the senatorial district have, yesterday, stormed Ibarapa zone of the state to commence his this year Christmas funfair party packages for kids.

The former Deputy Chief of Staff(DCoS), Adekanmbi in conjunction with Nigerian Television Authority(NTA),Ibadan organised the “First of Its Kind Ibarapa Christmas Party” yesterday, Tuesday, December 7 at Femadex Royal Garden, Idere, in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area, of the state.

While addressing press at the event, the immediate past Finance Commissioner in the state, Adekanmbi stated that,“Dear brethren, our lovely kids and their valued parents, here, gathered today! Calvary greetings to us all. As we all know, this is festive period to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the salvation He achieved through His death and resurrection. It’s annual ritual and today we have an event, here. We’ve brought father Christmas to Idere and we’ve invited people from the seven Ibarapas, to come and participate in the father Christmas event. It’s to show love, share gifts and put smiles on the faces of our children.

The internationally trained forensic Accountant, Adekanmbi furthered his speech and maintained that,”Indeed, I greatly thank our highly respected party chieftains and influential community leaders in this great zone, Ibarapa, who massively converged here today, for their love and supports. Specifically, I salute Hon. Gbemileke Bola Olawoore for the successful organization and I appreciate NTA, Ibadan for wonderful partnership. Thank you all.

While advising parents, the notable Philanthropist, Adekanmbi said that,”My pieces of advice are mainly for parents, because our kids are still too young for advice. Let’s pass message of love and message of giving. Irrespective of our tribal and religious differences, we’re all one. We’re all members of human race. So, as I said earlier, let’s share love. Let’s share rice and chicken in this Yuletide, as we normally do. And to our lovely kids, my festive message for them is to make merry. It’s to make fun and they shall prosper.

“Once again, fervently, I pray for our kids. They shall make it, and they shall be successful, in life. And to our parents, again, they need to always take care of their kinds as our children remain beautiful gifts of God and treasures that we must cherish and value always”, the Financial Pundit, Adekanmbi reiterated.

While commenting, Hon. Gbemileke Bola Olawoore said,”My Name is Prince Olawoore Gbemileke Bola, former party chairman, former local government chairman, former SSA to Governor, former secretary, former this and former that. And without trying to sound immodest, a grassroots politician to the core. Indeed, this is wonderful and this is one of its first kind happening in Ibarapa land. On behalf of all descendants of Ibarapa land, I say kudos to the incoming Senator, Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi for his kindness towards us in Ibarapa land. You’ll see that our children are very happy. Yes, we’re happy because we’ve never seen this kind of this event,in this manner, in Ibarapa land and we’re very grateful to him. It’s our fervent prayer that God almighty will take him to his desired special destination, and he shall become our distinguished senator, come 2023, by God’s grace.

While speaking on behalf of parents, Yeye Oba of Idere Land, Princess Mojibade Adetona stated that,”This is a very wonderful program. In fact, this is first of its kind in Ibarapa, not only in Ibarapa Central but in Ibarapa zone generally. Yes, we’ve been witnessing father Christmas funfairs and parties before but this is the first time the Christmas party will be this well packaged, specifically organised and the first television station in Africa, NTA, Ibadan will be fully on ground not only for media coverage but also as a key partner of the programme. Yes, we’ve never seen this kind of thing in Ibarapa land, so, we say kudos to Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi for organising this kind of program in Ibarapa land and God Almighty will make his Oyo South 2023 Senatorial ambition a reality. Adekanmbi has also perfected all plans to organise another Christmas funfair party, for all local governments in Ibadan major city and Ido local government, by 10am, tomorrow, Thursday, December 9, at NTA Ibadan television station, Agodi gate in Ibadan.
