Oyo South: ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi Commences “Comprehensive Skills Acquisition Progs”.

A front line Oyo South Senatorial Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, Honourable Abimbola Adekanmbi has commenced his this year “Comprehensive Skills Acquisition Programme”, yesterday, Friday, February 25, in Ibadan.

According to a release issued by ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi Campaign Organization’s Directorate of Communication and Public Relations,”The program is being coordinated by Ibadan Skills Acquisition Services, Challenge, in Ibadan and its duration is between 4-5 months. After the programme, the best graduating beneficiary in each category gets ‘Start – Up Packs’.

” ‘Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi’s Comprehensive Skills Acquisition Programme’ affords you an ample opportunity to become a professional in the following trades: Fashion Designing, Hair Dressing, Make-Up and Gele Tying, Pastry and Cake Making, Tie and Die, Liquid Mixture(Soap, Shampoo, and Air Freshener), Electrical Installation, Phone Repair and others.

The release further revealed that,”The programme is absolutely free and interested candidate within the 9 Local Government Areas(LGA’s) of Oyo South Senatorial District should call or send their details to 09158222224, 08100799770.

The release also recalled that,”Adekanmbi has been doing a lot far long and till now, for the good people of Oyo State, especially, for his Oyo South Constituents. For example, 1 million Naira for UCH during outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, distribution of food items during COVID-19 lock down, distribution of palliatives, distribution of hand sanitizers in major markets of Oyo state, 5 Million Naira bursary awards for students, distribution of Jamb forms for students, financial supports for the aged, empowerment programmes for youth, financial aids for women and many more.

“Also, in 2019, Adekanmbi had a first ever collaboration with the Technical University Ibadan and sponsored 100 Beneficiaries on the Youth Empowerment and Contract Recruitment Programme, providing seed funding at the end.
