Oyo South: Even, Out Of Office, Sen Soji Akanbi’s Efforts Continue Yielding(PHOTOS).
This is one of the Central Bank of Nigeria intervention projects at the prestigious University of Ibadan; (faculty of economics and management science) started during Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s era but has been foot-dragging.
As a prominent member of the Senate Committee on Banking, Finance and Insurance in the 8th Senate, with the support of my colleagues; adequate funding was appropriated for the culmination in June 2019, and three universities benefited from the intervention program.
This project could have been commissioned in 2019 but the holdup was due to situations revolving around electricity supply.
The coast is clear now, commissioning will take place soonest.
