Oyo South: OFAB Delivers Free Health Outreach in Ibadan, Ibarapa.
A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress(APC) from Ibarapa land in Oyo state and International Technocrat, Asiwaju Olawuyi Folarin Alao popularly known as OFAB has organised free health outreach through his foundation, OFAB Foundation, in Ibadan and Ibarapa.
This is revealed by a news release made available to newsmen by OFAB Foundation today in Ibadan.
The release reads:
OFAB DELIVERS FREE HEALTH OUTREACH PROGRAMME IN IBADAN AND IBARAPA
On behalf of OFAB Foundation Health Team, we want to appreciate our Principal, Asiwaju Folarin Olawuyi ALAO for the success of Free Medical Outreach at Ido LGA on March 31, 2021.
The program was coordinated by OFAB Ibadan team under the leadership of Mr Nurudeen Farayola.
We also appreciate Mrs Toyin Afachung, a seasoned medical outreach professional, Dr. Christine Emokhare, Ms. Taiwo Olawumi, Mrs. Peju Davies, the medical team and the MPH students interns from the University College Hospital that supported the process.
The Medical Outreach was a huge success. Highlights of activities included:
- Health talk
- Counseling on various health issues including management of High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Malaria, Tuberculosis, Sexual health, Menopause, Aging graceful amongst others.
Over 350 adults and children attended the program, and also benefitted from the free drugs (based on their prevailing health concerns).
The participants were encouraged to follow up at the nearest health facilities.
We appreciate all delegates from OFAB Ibadan who were present at the event e.g. Ms Toosin, Madam Sola, Comrade Wale, Hajia Mutunrayo Alli etc.
Similar Free Health Outreach Programmes were successfully delivered in two communities in recent past:
- At Ibarapa North (November 2020)
- At Ibadan North East (March 2020)
