Oyo South: Your Father Is An Exemplary Role Model, You’ve Clearly Taken After Him – Ibadan North Leaders To Kolapo Kola-Daisi.
Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North local government of Oyo South have thrown their weight behind Kolapo Kola-Daisi, describing the senatorial frontliner as an exemplary model who has clearly taken after his father.
The leaders stated this during a consultatory visit of the young Kola-Daisi held recently, where he intimated them of his plans to run in the upcoming elections with a clear intention to exemplarily represent the people of Oyo South at the red chamber, and to also bring real progress to the district.
Speaking on behalf of the leaders, Leader BAO Adedeji stated, “Your father, Bashorun Kola-Daisi is an upright and noble man who has placed Ibadan and Ibadan people in his heart all his life. No one who is a true indigene of this land can claim not to know his stretch of impact across different sectors to benefit people.”
He added, “And judging from your style and approach to politics Mr. Kolapo, it is clear you have taken after your exemplary Father. I personally do not expect you to do any less. As elders, it is only befitting to support a young and accomplished chap like you. We wish you well”
Speaking in the same light, another leader, Hon. Fatoyinbo Lukman, stated that the time is right for older aspirants and elders of the party to pace way and support younger minds to take up positions. He then added that the leaders should be grateful for having someone of Kolapo Kola-Daisi’s caliber, experience and capacity to make that decision an easy one.
Other leaders present at the meeting spoken glowingly about Kolapo Kola-Daisi’s aspiration and saluted his courage to come out at this time when there’s a right clamor for youthful participation and representation in governance.
The meeting was rounded off with prayers for the success of the aspirant from Madam Olashope Olabisi, with all present in agreement.
Other leaders present at the meeting include Leader Akibu Animasaun, Leader Shina Alabi, Leader Adepeju Esan, Leader Module Easn, Elder Fatoyinbo Lukman, Leader Taira Adeyemi, Leader Tinu Adigun and Baba Audu Morafa.
It should be recalled that Kolapo Kola-Daisi on Sunday successfully completed his screening by the APC secretariat and is now cleared to run as Senator for the Oyo South senatorial district.
