‘Oyo State Former Council Vice Chairmen G-68’ Pays Tribute to Late Business Magnate, Alhaji Lamidi Ajadi

The forum of former local council vice chairmen in Oyo State, elected during the administration of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, now known as ‘Oyo State Former Vice Chairmen G-68’, has expressed deep sadness over the passing of Alhaji (Chief) Lamidi Ajadi, a revered elder statesman, devoted Muslim, and highly respected business mogul whose death marks the end of an era in Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria by extension.
In a condolence message jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the forum, Hon. (Chief) Ademola Olawale ‘AGBADEMO’ and Hon. Jacob Akintola, JP, and which was made available to the newsmen today in Ibadan by the G-68’s Publicity Secretary, Hon. Monsuru Akintunde Adeyemo (Socrates), the forum stated that, “It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of our highly respected father, Alhaji (Chief) Lamidi Ajadi.
“In these moments of grief, we intimately understand the anguish of losing a patriarch of the family and pillar of the community. Baba’s departure is not just a personal loss to his loved ones but a void in the tapestry of our society.

“Alhaji Ajadi exemplified great virtues such as integrity, generosity, and unwavering commitment to community development. His life mirrored the essence of leadership—selfless service and dedication to uplifting others.

“As a business leader and custodian of our cultural heritage, Alhaji Ajadi championed progress while preserving the values that bind us as a people. His counsel was sought by many, his wisdom a beacon in times of uncertainty. Baba leaves a legacy etched in tangible and spiritual contributions to our land.
