Oyo State: Progressivism Is Our Ideology, Principle, We Believe It, Live By It – Open Salawu .
Former House of Representatives aspirant and stalwart of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo State, Engr. Mufutau Open Salawu has described progressive ideology as a school of thoughts that people should strongly believe in and stay with through thick and thin based on principles and pro- people agenda rather than seeing it as a mere ambition-seeking platform that people pass through and leave anyhow .
Open Salawu, who was an aspirant for Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire Federal Constituency seat in the 2019 National Assembly election said it is a good riddance to bad rubbish when some politicians dump progressive party based on selfish interests.
“Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Progressives don’t leave their party. It is an ideology and principle that we believe in and we live by it”, Open Salawu reiterated .
“We don’t feel threatened in any circumstances because we are always in control of the situation . It’s quite unfortunate that in our midst we have some few fair-weather participants and it’s very easy for such elements to exhibit their creeds”, Salawu said.
“I want every member of APC in Oyo State to remain calm and look forward to the genuine reconciliation by the committee saddled with the responsibility”, Hon. Open Salawu , Special Adviser on Works and Transport to late Gov.Ajimobi maintained.
