Oyo State : Saheed Fijabi Attends JCI Program, Identifies With Youth, Encourages Political Participation .
Hon. Saheed Akinade-Fijabi, The Chairman, Saheed Akinade-Fijabi Foundation has attended JCI monthly program which was held yesterday at the Premier Hotel in Ibadan .
Hon. Fijabi who doubled as the guest of honour and one of the speakers at the program delivered speech on the inclusion of youth in Nigerian politics .
He appreciated the youths for teaming up and uniting together to fight for their rights. He advised youth to be diplomatic on any other future agitations , as some hoodlums have mingled with them as protesters in order to hijack youth united efforts for their own ulterior motives .
He spoke on the need for youth to change their mindsets and attitudes. ” Most of our leaders today were youth before attaining power…..I want to encourage youth to participate in Nigerian politics, so that they will be part of decision making and also be in government at all strata “, Fijabi stated .
He lauded the president and all JCI members for the opportunity given to him, and he prayed that may JCI continue soaring higher.
In his remarks, the coordinator appreciated Hon. Saheed Akinade-Fijabi for being a well nurtured and cultured man. “Your Honour sir! Your lecture sooth us like a slake of water and we promise to call you some other time “, He said.
After the program, a golden frame was presented to Hon. Fijabi to appreciate his presence and priceless lecture delivered.
