Tinubu Legacy Forum(TLF) has inaugurated her Oyo State chapter today at Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre in Ibadan.

The BoT Chairman of TLF, Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem Adesina in his welcome address stated that, “TLF simply means Tinubu Legacy Forum, the forum came to existence about two(2)/years ago as a Non- Governmental Organization(NGO). The history of her inception was traced to the North, Zamfara state to be precise; the hometown of the incumbent National Coordinator, Muhammad Jamilu Sufi. I personally joined this forum through a link on social media as a member, later migrated to the position of Oyo state coordinator and now as the BoT Chairman in compensation of Oyo state activeness and steadfastness towards the progress and sustainability of the forum despite the odds. Sir/Ma today we can say boldly that TLF tentacles have spread strongly across all geopolitical zones in Nigeria and diasporas.

BoT Chairman continued, ” In addition; permit me to appreciate those that have been so supportive in one way or others so far for the progress of this forum. My sincere appreciation goes to the Distinguished Senator Fatai Buhari who secured Oyo state office, my appreciation also goes to Barr. Adeniyi Akintola, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, Hon. Madehin among others. My deep appreciation also goes to our members across the nation for their timely and unalloyed support, morally, spiritually and financially, for attaining this progress so far.

In his own words, TLF National Coordinator, Hon. Muhammad Jamilu Sufi stated that, ” The history of TLF inception was traced to the North in compensation of Asiwaju gestures towards the north for giving northerners another opportunity to serve two terms as promised; so it is high time we reciprocate the gesture of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and good people of Southwest. Please, join hands with us to bring Asiwaju on board as number one citizen of Nigeria comes 2023″.

The Guest Lecturer at the occasion, Hon.(Prince) Akeem Adeyemi popularly known as “Skimmeh” while delivering his speech maintained that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a political phenomenon, ” BAT is one unique Nigerian personality with imposing features, strides and achievements. He is politician, businessman and leader of thought. Within the span of twenty- three years, Asiwaju has risen to become the Generalissmo of Nigerian Politics.

Skimmeh further described Asiwaju Tinubu as maker and manager of men cum resources who has touched many lives and contributed immensely to the development of Lagos State, Southwest and Nigeria at large.

“Tinubu is a bridge-builder, who believes in the invisibility and oneness of Nigeria. All over the nation, he has made friends, allies, loyalists and supporters across all divides. I made bold to say that Tinubu is a detribalised Nigerian, who sees everyone as equal. His contributions towards the propagation of both Islam and Christianity are unquantifiable. Worthy of note is the fact that Asiwaju’s wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is a pastor. Also, his love and admiration for our royal fathers and traditional institution are enthralling”, Skimmeh reiterated.

“From the West to the East and to the far North, Asiwaju has bestridden the political landscape of Nigeria like a colossus. His enigmatic proclivity, unwavering generosity, undefiled dexterity and cerebral acuity have distinguished Bola Tinubu as one of the foremost Africa’s leaders of thoughts, whose impacts will remain indelible in the minds of people of the Black Race. Little do we wonder why Tinubu is a friend to many African leaders and heads of governments.

Mother of The Day and Patroness of TLF, Chief(Dr) Florence Ajimobi, represented by former Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to Late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Mr Tunji Bolaji said, “Asiwaju is Ajimobi and Ajimobi is Asiwaju, so, Ajimobi family will always identify with ideals and legacies of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is a selfless leader and integrous statesman. A detribalised nationalist and charismatic leader of all times. Also, TLF is doing well and let’s continue the good works”.

Former Governor of the State of Osun and current Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, represented by Alhaji Mojeed Olaoluwa, described Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu “Jagaban of Borgu” as a book with unending chapters. He further said, “Asiwaju is a phenomenon. Asiwaju is a special being before Almighty God. Asiwaju is an institution. Asiwaju is a lecture that can’t end. Asiwaju is for the poor and he is for the rich. Indeed, Asiwaju is indescribable. He is a unifier. He is an identifier. He is a manager of man and material. He is a leader of leaders and mentor of mentors. He is development himself. I can’t conclude without saying Asiwaju is love and he radiates love and that is whom I know Asiwaju to be.

Former Oyo State Deputy Chief of Staff and Ex- Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi lauded TLF for being at front burner of spreading gospel and legacies of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He maintained, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a visionary leader I ever seen. He is a detribalised nationalist and integrous statesman. Asiwaju BAT is a charismatic leader and angel with out wings to many that have been opportune to meet him in life”.

TLF Coordinator in Diasporas, Engr Kunle Adebayo reiterated that “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a wonderful being that always been stands for Yoruba land. BAT has stood for many. He always stands for progressive ideals, comes 2023, let’s reciprocate his good deeds by giving him our mandate to be the successor-in-tittle to President Muhammad Buhari. He is tested and trusted, let’s support him”.

IBORA National President, Alhaji Wahab Ajulo, in his own message lauded the program. He stated that, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is coming to govern Nigeria in 2023 because of his experience, accountability and transparency. He deserves it. He is our man. He is our choice He is man of masses. All Southwesterners and Nigerians generally should all rally round him and support him.

In their ‘votes of thanks’ messages, Comrade Femi Awogboro, Hon. Hammed Aponmode and Hon. Hamzat Olalekan Hammed appreciated the invited guests and everybody that havr contributed to the success of the program in one way or the other.
