OYSG vs Oyo ALGON, Progressive Oyo Connect Sues for Peace- Inaolaji Akinloye

Progressive Oyo Connect(POC) has sued for peace and tranquility in Oyo State, the forum made this statement in a press release issued by her publicity secretary, Inaolaji Akinloye in Ibadan and made available to newsmen.

Inaolaji said ; “The Progressive Oyo Connect wishes to use this medium to appeal to our State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde and democratically elected local council officials to dialogue and find a common ground in the best interests of Oyo State as there is no law or ordinance mightier than understanding and comprise does not mean cowardice”.

Akinloye further reiterated it that; “We want to advise our darling Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde to always see Himself as overall Governor of Oyo State but not as partisan governor of PDP Oyo.

The tenure of the democratically elected local government chairmen, vice chairmen and councillors will lapse in less than 16months, in lieu of this, we want to appeal to our dear governor to respect rule of law, honour judicial decision of supreme court on the Local Government matters and work hand in hand with the elected council officials so as to collectively move Oyo State forward”.
