PDP Youths Are Toothless Bulldogs; They’re Borehole Water Sellers Across Oyo State – Afeez Bello ‘Mabinuori Fires PDP State PRO

The Publicity Secretary of the Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2024 Councillorship and Chairmanship Candidates in Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Afeez Bello Mabinuori, has fired the state publicity of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Micheal Ogunsina, over the action he termed a narrow-minded attack on the Hon. Minister of Power, Oloye Bayo Adelabu, over 12.5 million naira in support to the Oyo APC media team, after a meeting held in his country home on Friday, October 3, at Itaganku GRA, Ibadan, Oyo State.

“After the news of the media parley organised by the Adelabu team with the APC Media team to foster unity and progress of the party ahead of 2027 sent shocking waves to the Oyo PDP, the anti-people party which is banking on the disunity in Oyo APC to make life more difficult for the citizens and residents of Oyo State, PDP PRO, Ogunsina reacted on his Facebook post by tagging the money meant for transport fare for the APC Media Handlers as money for abusing PDP, which is morally and politically unwise. “That’s low-minded and myopic” – Mabinuori knocked.

“The media handlers of APC are experienced and struggle-tested professionals, artisans, and successful people in different fields of endeavour who are not living on peanuts like that of PDP, who are the ones dominating and selling borehole water across some wards where PDP representatives constructed boreholes after the Seyi Makinde-led administration failed to provide potable water for the people of Oyo State due to the fact that the Water Corporation of Oyo State has become moribund since July 2019,” Mabinuori enlightened Ogunsina.

Mabinuori continued, “The acclaimed youths appointed by Seyi Makinde are toothless bulldogs that can neither bark nor bite since they have no active roles to play in their respective offices to contribute to the development of their local government and the state since all the power, operation and activities of local government areas, ministries and agencies were concentrated in the office of a few elements working around the governor.

“Using Adelabu’s son to score a cheap political point showed that Ogunsina is politically immature and mentally discombobulated. He should come out and explain to the world where Makinde’s children shared part of the money given to PDP data boys that are attacking opposition on Facebook and Twitter across the state,” Mabinuori queried.

“Facts do not lie. Adelabu and other appointees, APC Federal and State legislators, are doing wonderfully well, much more than PDP legislators and Seyi Makinde regarding pro-people representations, employments, appointments and empowerments,” he hinted.

Mabinuori warned Ogunsina not to ever attack Adelabu and other APC gubernatorial aspirants. “Our leaders are gold among special metals. They were far better than the incompetent PDP aspirants that have turned Makinde into a demi-god since they don’t have the mental, psychological, and political capacity to lead the state in 2027. Indeed, generally, our gubernatorial aspirants tower above PDP puppets, and in particular, Oloye Bayo Adelabu is an extraordinary achiever and ingenious helmsman.

Mabinuori reminded Ogunsina that the PDP youths sent to Nassarawa state by the Makinde-led administration during his first term have never contributed the simplest developmental action to the agriculture sector in the state. “They’re now using their daytime in betting houses, fighting people across viewing centres in the evening when the teams they placed bets on lose against their opponents.

“Which kind of empowerment is that?” Mabinuori questioned Ogunsina.

Mabinuori noted that some youths have turned under Mokola Flyover to their residents, and they embarked on picking pockets, snatching items, and attacking people in the night.” This has exposed the Makinde government regarding insecurity in Oyo State despite receiving huge billions of Naira and security votes from the Tinubu and APC-led administration at the federal level.

“The layman on the street knows perfectly well that Adelabu is an accomplished businessman who has been contributing immensely to the development of mankind and empowering people through the Bayo Adelabu Foundation. He advised Ogunsina to stop spreading fake propaganda against Oyo APC, Adelabu and other gubernatorial aspirants of the party and encouraged him to advise Makinde to improve the standard of living in the state since the United APC in Oyo State is coming to take over the power come 2027.
