Philanthropy: Open Salawu Gives Scholarship to Students from Ogbomoso Land.
Former House of Representatives aspirant and stalwart of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo State, Engr. Mufutau Open Salawu has given lifeline scholarship to 20 students from Ogbomoso Land.
” We have through our NGO, Open Integration of learning foundation(Oil Foundation) provided Lifeline Scholarship to the best performed primary school students from JSS1 to University level from Ogbomoso land.
” The 3rd Editions which took place on Sunday 13th of December 2020 at Al Hussain House, Sabo, Ogbomoso was well attended by teachers and parents of the beneficiaries across three Local Government Areas(LGA’s) from Ogbomoso Federal Constituency.
The President of Oil foundation, Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, former Special Adviser to Oyo state governor on works and transport said during the program that there is nothing as joyful as putting smiles on the faces of the needy.
“Your wealth can be well spent when you are alive and touching people’s lives positively to make society more better. We are doing this to encourage other well meaning sons and daughters of Ogbomosho land and Oyo state in general to emulate this kindly gesture to benefit more people”, Open Salawu stated.
