4TH SERIES IN SEPTEMBER: SENATOR BUHARI EMPOWERS ANOTHER 220 CONSTITUENTS IN ISEYIN
-ADVISES BENEFICIARIES TO MAKE BEST USE OF THE START UP PACKAGE OF 100 THOUSAND NAIRA

The fourth series of empowerments including training in 13 Local government areas of Oyo North Senatorial District, Oyo State facilitated by Senator Buhari Abdulfatai Ph. D has been concluded as 220 participants went home with a sum of one hundred thousand naira each.
The training that was held between Wednesday 25 and Friday 26, September, 2024 at Queen Event Center, Iseyin had participants carefully selected from the 13 Local Government areas in the district.
Speaking on behalf of Senator Buhari, the former commissioner of works in Oyo State, Alhaji Wasiu Oladimeji Dauda(Asusu) appreciated President Tinubu led government that made enabling environment to organise the training available.
Asusu also commended the management of Federal College of Freshwater Fisheries Technology, New Bussa for their commitment towards eradicating poverty among Nigerians particularly at this trial period when the economic is not that friendly.
Alhaji Asusu while congratulated the beneficiaries for the rare opportunity to be selected for the training admonished them to make best use of their newly acquired knowledge.
“I also want to advise that you make judicious use of the 100 thousand naira given to each of you so that it can multiply and serve as a good source of wealth for you all.
Alhaji Asusu charged the participants to continually pray for Senator Buhari so that his efforts to remove constituents of Oyo North from the shackle of poverty will be achieved.
The training was jointly sponsored by Federal College of Freshwater and Fisheries Technology, New Bussa and Senator Buhari imparted knowledge needed by the constituents to establish and grow their businesses.
In his lecture, the Lead Speaker at the training, Dr. Taofeek Owoseni enjoined the participants to make best use of the opportunity given to them by Senator Buhari to improve on their production, packaging, marketing and growing of their businesses.
Declaring that the processes of registration with regulatory bodies have become less cumbersome, Owoseni encouraged the beneficiaries to be courageous to establish Limited and Public Liability Companies.
Prominent among the dignitaries at the training were the Registrar and The Director, Research and Planning, Federal College of Freshwater Fisheries Technology, New Bussa, Mr Nurudeen Abdullahi and Mr A. B. C Nwabor respectfully, Hon. Adedeji Abiodun Adeyemo (Obadoba) Mr Lekan Alagbe, Mr Kunle Ajay, Alhaji Kola Kazeem, Alhaji Semiu Azeez, Mr Lukman Dauda, Engr. Abolade Akanni among others.
It shall be recalled that just in this month of September, Senator Buhari had empowered 250 constituents in a training at Igboho, Oorelope Local Government, another 250 people at Saki, Saki West Local Government, another 240 farmers at Ogbomoso and just today another 220 beneficiaries at Iseyin went home with a hundred thousand naira each.
