On Sunday November 28, 2021 , “Adebass Skills Acquisition and Vocational Centre” produced 127 graduates in its third phase.
As gathered by this Newspaper, Africano Trumpeters, the three week training was organized and fuelled by former Honourable Councillor representing ward 2 in Akinyele South LCDA, Honourable Adeyemo Abass Adebass to complement the efforts of Federal and State Governments, to reduce unemployment among the youths, in Oyo State.
The beneficiaries , who were presented with starter packs at graduation ceremony, held at Amoo school Hall , Akingbile, lbadan , under went rigorous training on satellite installation among others.
The empowerment programme drew participants, especially, youths across the neighboring communities where the Adebass Skills Acquisition is situated. The communities include Sasa , Orogun , Ajibode , Moniya , Alabata, Talontan, Ojoo, Ajibade, Molarere, Ikereku, Arulogun, Iroko, Motunde and Akinyele, all in Akinyele Local Government.
In his welcoming address , Honourable Adebass said the programme was in furtherance of his efforts geared towards contributing to skills development, capacity building and overall economic empowerment of the people living in Akinyele Local Government. He also argued that the initiative will go a long way to enhance curbing unemployment challenges in the State.
Meanwhile, Hon Ambali Waheed former SA to late Abiola Ajimobi and current Chairman Tinubu Support Organization who is one of the invited guests lauded Honourable Adebass for giving back to the society that supported his dream. He therefore wished him more success in his political career.
The event also had in attendance, Hon Akin Adewale, Hon Adigun-Hammed Aboidun Murphy, Asiwaju Folawiyo, Federal Commissioner for Public Complaints, from Oyo state, Honourable Ambali Waheed, Honourable Akinsoji Akinbode, Inaolaji Akinloye, Honourable Yaro ,Hon Adesokan Adesoji, Hon Osunbunmi, Hon Razak Ganiyu, Dr. Adejinmi Sageed Ayoade, Akin Akinwale, party leaders, all local govetnment executives, ward executives, especially from ward 7-12 and other lovers of the All Progressives(APC).
Also, at the event was the decoration of Honourable Adeyemo Abass Adebass with a beautiful award in recognition of his magnanimous style of leadership, administrative acumen and positive contributions on the lives of people in his local government, Oyo state and Nigeria, as a whole.
