A frontline Gubernatorial Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, in Oyo-State, and Osi Basorun of Ibadan Land, Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has today appeared an a popular political program, ‘Lagbo Oselu’, of Noble Fm and he also visited his political ward, in Ibadan Southwest Local Government.
The Illustrious Son of Ibadan land, from Olupoyi Compound, at Oja’Ba in Ibadan, Adeduntan while reacting to the state of Oyo APC’s affairs lamented that,”APC National leadership must be an unbiased umpire. You can’t build something on nothing and he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. Also, many of our people, here in Oyo-State are not sincere and any house that its foundation is a falsehood will definitely collapse.
The international cardiovascular surgeon and former Commissioner for Health, Dr Adeduntan revealed that centre is not holding within Oyo APC, as things stand now, and he prayed that may God take control.
“I’m a truth-worshiper and you’ll hear nothing from me except truth. I was part of Oyo-State delegates at recently conveyed stakeholders’ meeting by our national leadership, in Abuja. I want to say this again,’Ile Ti Aba Fi Ito Mon, Iri Ni Yio Wo’….. Our leaders both, at national and state levels are not straightforward and that’s the current bane of Oyo APC. May God help us to straighten everything and, also, we must all check ourselves.
“Presently, insincerity is our major problem and this should be a lesson for other parties and younger generations. Nothing brings commotion to any peaceful house than insincerity and injustice.
While probed by the Radio Presenter, Mr Saheed to clarify what he meant by insincerity, Adeduntan stated that,”The main insincerity is the doctored excos and delegates’ lists. I’m a pious Muslim and I will tell you nothing but truth…. It’s only God that enthrones and dethrones. No any amount of the falsification of party executives’ lists that can change destiny of whoever God says will be governor come 2023.
While encouraged that why haven’t bigwigs called for peace talks, Adeduntan replied that,”A dog that is destined to go astray will never take whistling guide of its hunter-master. I, Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan, have severally blown whistle of peace and harmony. We’ve gathered on air. We’ve gathered among ourselves. But some people are just obstinate on destabilising peaceful atmosphere of this party. They’re hellbent in using dubious means to achieve their aspirations. They don’t want plain level grounds. All they know and want are manipulations.
On the radio program, Adeduntan described inauguration of Hon. Isaac Omodewu as a calamity and charged APC National leadership to retrace their steps.
He maintained that the state congress committee members that came to Oyo-State supposed to be arrested and tried because the national leadership of APC revealed that they did not give them approval to come and conduct what he described as purported congress.
“Gambo led committee also came to lie. The national leadership did not give them approval to come and conduct any Congress…. What is currently happening in Oyo-State APC is that,’we that stand with God and believe in due process are fighting those that want to steal our common political inheritance.
Adeduntan reiterated it that to save Oyo APC, the party national leadership must retrace their steps and revisit the affairs the party state chapter.
