It is with unimaginable excitement, jubilation, and prayers that Project Light Up Oyo Central Senatorial District commences across the entire constituency.
Senator Yunus Akintunde, the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District at the Senate in the National Assembly has surpassed the expectations of the various stakeholders comprising opinion leaders, community and religious group leaders, traditional rulers, and the constituents in general when he facilitated the provision of solar powered street lights at strategic places within the constituency.
Dr. Akintunde popularly referred to as “Tanantana Yunus, an energy expert with a unique passion for light and power sector improvement has been able to influence the implementation of the light-up project across the eleven local government areas within the Constituency.
Amidst accolades and appreciation from the constituents in the various communities that will be benefiting from this phase of the developmental project targeting several wards, zones, markets, health centers, Okada motorcycle joints, parks, palaces, worship centers of mosques and churches, community leaders inclusive, the site engineers have commenced installation process with speed, expertise, and efficient coordination.
The various aides working with Senator Akintunde including Community Relations Coordinators CRC’s, Special Assistants SA’s, and Laison Officers LO’s have been involved in synergetic partnership with the engineers on site with the stakeholders to seamlessly make the project implementation a very successful engagement.
Senator Yunus Akintunde in his words promised to always connect with the people and provide exemplary leadership in his capacity as a congressman representing his people and leveraging on such Federal Government intervention projects and opportunities that are targeted towards improvement of living standards of the citizenry at all times.
“I assure my people to always “do more” with unwavering commitments in my capacity as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria beyond just lawmaking as I promised them during and after the elections”, he emphasized.
