Member, House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Honourable (Prince) Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has commenced the much anticipated plumbing training and empowerment programme facilitated for the benefit of his constituents.

At the opening ceremony of the training of plumbers on modern methods of plumbing and their applications which took place at Carlton Gate Hotel, Secretariat road Agodi Ibadan yesterday, Monday September 25, 2022, Hon. Olaide Akinremi made it known that the Federal Government sponsored training initiative through the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) is focused on upgrading the skills and knowledge base of existing plumbers.

Prince Akinremi Jagaban explained that youth development and empowerment remains a critical part of his legislative agenda, and considering his understanding that a mind that learns is a mind that grows, he is generally interested and have always invested enormous resources into human capacity development in the formal and informal sectors for several years now.

Prince Akinremi Jagaban thereby appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) on the laudable youth empowerment initiative in which his constituents are the first set of beneficiaries in the entire South-West region of the country.

Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban charged all participants to put the plumbing equipment they are set to be empowered with into judicious use as these items have come at a very high cost. He stated that the equipment are to help them increase their work functionality, efficiency and productivity which will lead them to earning better income.

Hon. Olaide Akinremi further made it known to the 100 beneficiaries that those who put the plumbing equipment of high net worth into good use will have opportunities for greater support from the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) in the months and years ahead.

Prince Akinremi Jagaban reiterated it that he remains committed to ideas and agenda that will help the youths of his constituency attain financial independence and self sufficiency.
