Oloye Banji Agboola Banji, the Chief Operations Officer of Orisun Igbomina Broadcasting Network (OIBN), was on Saturday, June 8, installed as the Otun Oba Asoludero by His Royal Majesty (HRM) Oba Bisiriyu Adekunle Adeniji, the Owaloja of Kajola-Ajaba Kingdom, Ila Local Government Area (LGA), Osun State. 

The installation ceremony was part of activities lined up to mark the monarch’s first anniversary on the throne.

Oloye Banji Agboola was honoured alongside other notable sons and daughters of Osun State for their contributions to societal development.

Speaking to Orisun Igbomina 102.1FM during the well-attended and glamorous event held at Kajola High School premises, the Owaloja lauded Otunba Banji Agboola’s dedication, leadership, philantropy, and vision, which have significantly impacted Ila town, Osun, and Nigeria in general. 

With a career spanning decades, Otunba Agboola has earned a reputation as a master strategist, crisis manager, and communications expert, advising top-tier organisations and individuals on effective public reputation management.

The new Otun Oba Asoludero of Kajola-Ajaba is a seasoned public relations expert, an astute agribusiness developer, a security manager of note, a well-bred property merchandiser, a renowned freight and logistics enterprise, an automart businessman, excellent in the hospitality sector, and a dedicated servant leader.

This versatile personality is also a statesman, public servant, political strategist, and democrat.

Otunba Banji Agboola, who is a cousin to Owalajo Ajaba stool, is obligated to join the ancestral track of reigning along his traditional tree to guard the throne.

By matriarchal hegemony, the new chief is a scion of the Abodiyo royal bloodline.
