PHOTOS: Holy Trinity Grammar School Old Students Association Holds Historic AGM, Outlines Achievements, Future Plans

  • The Holy Trinity Grammar School Old Students Association (NOSA-HTGS) held its 1st Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the school premises, marking a significant milestone in the association’s history.

Over 500 registered members of the association attended the programme, with many more participating online. National President Aare Adesina Idowu Adegoke welcomed members, highlighting achievements since August 2023, including:

  • Establishing a national bank account
  • Quarterly meetings with set leaders
  • Installing an old student, Mrs. Olanike Makinde, as Principal
  • Supporting the school’s inter-house sports competition.

President Adegoke outlined future plans:

  • Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
  • Constitution review
  • Inauguration of a Board of Trustees
  • Fundraising for school projects
  • Academic upliftment and enhancement support

Professor Akeem Adekunle Amodu delivered the keynote address, emphasizing old students’ collective responsibility to shape the school’s future. He cited examples from notable institutions, highlighting impacts on infrastructure development, scholarships, mentorship, advocacy, and school identity.

The AGM featured committee appointments, reports, and awards to outstanding old students. National President Aare Adesina Idowu Adegoke appreciated all attendees, saying, “Your presence demonstrates our commitment to our alma mater’s growth.”

The successful event sets the stage for continued progress and positive impact. NOSA-HTGS looks forward to its 60th-anniversary celebration in September 2026.
