President, ‘Jide Adeyemi Foundation and Member, House of Representatives(MHR) Hopeful, from Ibadan Northeast and Southeast Federal Constituency, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Hon. ‘Jide Adeyemi has organised “A Special Eye Screening Program”, today, Wednesday, at Ita Baale Olugbode in Ibadan, for the residents and indigenes of Ibadan Northeast and Southeast Local Government Areas of Oyo-State.

The people-centred program was sponsored by ‘Jide Adeyemi Foundation in partnership with the Community Eye Outreach Unit, University College Hospital UCH, Ibadan. And it provided comprehensive eye examinations, eye drops, medicines, medicated eyeglasses and surgeries, free of charges, for cases requiring such.

It, also, included community health education focusing on eye treatment and general health promotion.

During the press briefing session of the programme, the CEO/Chief Brand Strategist, Big and Bold Communications Limited, ‘Jide Adeyemi stated that the importance of good sight to rational human makeup could not be overemphasized. “As far as eye challenges are concerned, I’m a fighter, I’m a warrior and I’m a victor. I’ve fought it and I’ve overcome it. Today, I see and read clearly”, Adeyemi revealed.

“Health is wealth! We organise this programme to support people who have different eye challenges, to overcome it, and it’s organized, not only for APC members, but also, for the entire good people of Ibadan Northeast and Southeast Federal Constituency. Let me even say that it’s meant for the entire people of Ibadan land because some of the people here also come from other federal constituencies”, he said.

Hon. ‘Jide Adeyemi assured people of holding the program periodically. ” Other programmes for widows, traders, youth and the likes are also in pipeline. I’m for you. My programmes are for people, people and people. All I need are your prayers and supports”, Communication Pundit, Adeyemi said.

“My legislative interests are revitalization of education, reinvigoration of government policies, promotion of our value system, youth development, accelerated development among others”, he revealed.

“I, also, want to use this avenue to encourage our people, especially, those that have just turned 18, to go and register en-mass, with Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), as the registration exercise begins end of this month of June”, Hon. ‘Jide canvassed.

While speaking at the event, Oyo South Senatorial District’s Chairman of APC, Prince Ade Adekanye lauded ‘Jide Adeyemi’s efforts and contributions towards the progress of the party, APC and society in general.

In his own remarks, Ibadan North APC Chieftain, Hon. Olu Abiola saluted Adeyemi’s courage and encouraged him to remain consistent with his pro-people programmes as they are watching him and they will, definitely pay, him back, in good ways, when the time comes.
