PHOTOS: Moshood Ajadi Foundation Spearheads Cross-Party Dialogue in Akinyele LGA, Advocates Free, Fair Elections
A frontline non-governmental organisation (NGO), Moshood Ajadi Foundation, has sponsored a public debate organised by a popular group, Akinyele Fiesta.
The debate is geared towards the development and growth of the Akinyele local government in collaboration with the youth of the new Nigeria, Akinyele Chapter.
The event was organised by the Foundation in conjunction with the group for the political parties across Akinyele local government, Among the political parties’ standard bearers present with their chairmen and councillors are the Social Democratic Party and Labour Party, and representatives of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) were absent.
The occasion was graced by renowned media houses like Amuludun FM, Moniya, and others.
Among dignitaries and groups present were the Akinyele local government CDA chairman, his secretary, different artisans associations, the youth forum president, and residents.
The Chairman, Moshood Ajadi Foundation, and the convener of the Akinyele Fiesta, Amb. (Dr.) Moshood Ismail Abioye, appreciated the youth of the new Nigeria for their collaboration, as well as the community leaders, media houses, youths and forum presidents, artisans associations, residents, and student bodies present.
Dr. Abioye encouraged whoever emerges to prioritise Akinyele local government development and growth over individuals, groups, or party selfishness, and he encouraged the legislatures to make laws that will be life-changing and have meaningful impacts on their wards.
This, as we have done, is in support of the vision and mission of the governor to have a free and fair election with no intimidation from any corner.
The electorate is to be convinced enough to vote for their preferred candidates, as stated by the governor.
“As a group, we are convinced enough by what the candidates said that if they are given the chance, they will perform well and turn around the dead fortune of Akinyele to its valuable and renowned situations.
The Akinyele CDA secretary commended the effort of Amb. Dr. Moshood for his developmental initiatives and prayed for him for more recognition within the state and Nigeria at large.”More is needed, and God bless you, our son, for all you are doing for Akineyele local government at large.

The CDA secretary showed his displeasure over the absence of some parties’ candidates. ” We’re not happy that you ignored the clarion call for opportunities to express your manifestos and plans for the electorate.
The chairman encouraged those present and advised them that whoever emerges as the winner should call on others to join hands with him for the growth and development of Akinyele local government.
