As Muslim Ummah around the world are observing Ramadan 2023, the Muslim Community, Anfaani- Imalefalafia-Ososami Branch has honoured Oyo South Senator-Elect, under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli with Merit Award today April 11, at his Bodija residence in Ibadan.
While speaking with Africano Trumpeters’ reporters, the Vice Chairman of the Islamic Organization, Alfa Hamzat Ismail Abimbola stated that,”All praises are due to Almighty Allah, Lord of the World; the entirely merciful, especially the merciful. Prior to Alli’s emergence as Senator, he has contributed to the society, at large, by helping the less privileged and contributing to the course of Allah. The award conferred to him is not because he emerged as Senator-Elect but his contribution to the progress and development of the society is matchless.
He continued,”Sharafadeen Alli is not a religious bigot. He is a senator for all. What he has been doing prompts us to honour him with this well deserved award. Aside from incessant scholarships for students, he is also empowering the aged and the youths because if he has been doing all these when he has not been elected, that means he will do much more than what he has been doing before”,he added.
