PHOTOS: OYHA Aspirant, Hon ‘Dimeji Obisesan ‘Africa’ Shares Lent, Ramadan Gifts for Constituents, Assures People of Inclusive Representation

As part of his efforts to engender pro-people representation, Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful Hon. Oladimeji Obisesan, popularly known as Africa, has reached out to the Muslim and Christian faithful in Ibadan North Constituency II, celebrating the holy month of Ramadan and the Lenten season by sharing packages with the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and constituents.

Obisesan used the occasion to emphasise the Islamic and Christian values of spirituality, generosity and kindness to the constituents.

In his goodwill message, the representative of Alhaji BAO, Barr. J.P. Adedokun, lauded the apex leaders and the party members. He highlighted that everyone knows Obisesan as a good party man. “He is competent and has the capacity to represent the constituents in the State House of Assembly.

Adedokun urged the party members to embrace unity and discourage groups within the party since groups create disunity. “Let’s support Obisesan on his aspiration,” he encouraged.

The newly sworn-in APC Chairman in Ibadan North Local Government, Engr Adebayonle Salami, acknowledged that unity is the pillar of the ‘United Progressive Party’ in the state. He saluted Hon Obisesan for his loyalty and support for the party while assuring the attendees that APC will take over Oyo State come 2027.

Other dignitaries in attendance respectively commended Obisesan and hailed him as one of the poster boys of Oyo APC.

In his remarks, Obisesan expressed his deep appreciation to the leaders and members in attendance. He noted that the rationale behind the gathering is to show love to the party faithful and constituents who are observing Ramadan and Lent by sharing food packages with them, maintaining that ordinance of the God Almighty preaches kindness and generosity among mankind.

Obisesan reflected on his challenges and successes as a core progressive party man while expressing his intention to vie for the position of State House of Assembly in Ibadan North Constituency-II. He solicited the support of the constituents.

Obisesan appreciated the unity in the party and the party leadership for their relentless efforts to ensure a united Oyo APC, while noting that all the beneficiaries were selected by the party leadership. He promised an all-inclusive representation if he emerged as the candidate of the APC and winner of the election in the constituency come 2027.
