PHOTOS: Oyo APC Chieftain, Alhaji Taofiq ‘Shina Alabi, Turbaned As ‘Agbesinga Adeen’

Alhaji Taofiq Adeshina Alabi, an influential Oyo APC chieftain, has been turbaned as ‘Agbesinga Adeen’ by the Muslim Righteous Movement during a grand ceremony held on Saturday, March 15, at Ansarudeen Primary School, Agbowo, Ibadan.

The event was attended by numerous personalities from various walks of life, including renowned Islamic scholars and top APC officials.
During the ceremony, Sheikh Nda Salati delivered a lecture on “The Muslim Righteousness,” emphasising the importance of commitment to Allah’s cause and the growth and development of Islam. He praised Alhaji Alabi for his generosity and contributions to the development of Islam.

Engineer Remi Oseni, represented by his SLA, Hon. Okedina, donated 5 million naira for the construction of a holy mosque and Madrasah to the Muslim Righteous Movement. Oseni also used the avenue to express his condolences to the Oyo APC over the sudden passing of the former Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Kehinde Subair.

Gastab Oil owner, Alhaji Saheed Adigun Omogbolahan, represented by Alhaji Yaro, launched 300,000 naira, while other Gastab representatives donated an additional 500,000 naira, totalling 800,000 naira.”The amount that my boss will donate is undisclosed”, he hinted.
Alhaji Alabi also donated 1 million naira to the Muslim Righteous Movement and promised a Hajj slot to an Islamic cleric.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Alh Olayide Abass, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, Alhaja Tinuade Adigun, Alhaji Bello Oladeji (BAO), Ambassador Yemi Aderibigbe, Alhaji Omilabu Gandhi, Alhaji Abubakar Marafa, Hon. (Dr.) Peju Esan, Hon. Akeem Adebiyi, Chief Niran Adeyoju, Hon. Monsuru Akintunde Adeyemo ‘Socrates’ (represented by Hon. Afeez Bello Mabinuori), Hon. Umar Faruk Arisekola, Hon. Saheed Aderonmu, Hon. Baliqis Olamide Junaid, Hon. Abiodun Omotosho Babanchi (Ibadan North APC Local Government Secretary), Mr. Oluwaseun Ishola, Hon. Abass Adebass, Hon. Taiwo Eshinlokun, Hon. Taiwo Olalere Glorious, Hon. Teslim Kunle (Tescom), and Dr. Wasiu Rufai, among several others.
