Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Oyo-State, Honourable(Mrs) Tinuade Adigun has joined other state and zonal women leaders of the ruling party, across Nigeria, at “2022 APC Strategy, Planning and Capacity Building Workshop”, held today, Thursday, April 21, 2022, at K-Class Hotel, 22 Sokode Crescent, Besides FIRS, Wuse 5, Abuja.

The theme of the workshop is “Setting Progressive Agenda for The Newly Elected Leadership of the APC Women Wing”.

Speaking on the sidelines of the workshop, Oyo APC Women Leader, Hon. Adigun stated that the secrets of electoral victory of any ruling party are based on the priority such party gives its women wing.”APC is winning since her inception because, we, women, have never relented in our efforts and we’ll consolidate that effort, to retain Nigeria and reclaim my state, Oyo, from PDP, come 2023.

“On behalf of myself and other women leaders, in the country, I thank our amiable President, Muhammad Buhari and our charismatic party leadership, for giving us, women, opportunities, to serve in the respective progressive governments, at all strata and across the country. Meanwhile, the percentage of women in government and those holding positions of authority, in the party, are still very low and I want the leadership to look into that and adjust, appropriately”,she said.

“In fact, I laud the leadership acumen of our National Party Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adam and I appreciate our affable National Women Leader, Dr Betta Edu for putting up this highly strategic and resourceful workshop together. Indeed, we’ve started well and victorious days are ahead, by His Grace. APC! Retain Nigeria. APC!! Change Oyo-State”, Adigun enthused.

Among the female archetypes at the workshop were APC National Women Leader, Dr(Mrs) Beta Edu, Nigerian Minister of Women Affairs, Hon.(Mrs) Pauline Kedem Tallen, Party’s Deputy National Women Leader, Hon.(Mrs) Ummar Adamu Sanni, immediate Past National Women Leader, Hon. Stella Erhuwuoghene Okoieie, South West Zonal Women Leader, Hon Yetunde Shakirat Adesanya and several others.
