The Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), during the 2019 General Election in Oyo-State, Oloye Bayo Adelabu has hosted the Vice Chairpersons of Local Government Areas(LGA’s) and Local Council Development Areas(LCDA’s), in the state, to a victory party and “iftar” banquet, on Friday, after the Supreme Court verdict in favour of the local council helmsmen.
Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), Adelabu saluted the courage and tenacity of the council bosses in the face of what he described as “executive rascality displayed by the People’s Democracy Party (PDP) led government in the state.
The Agbaakin Parakoyi Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Adelabu lauded the party leadership, at all strata, for standing with the truth and sacredness of the people’s mandate. He commended them for solidarising with pro- constitution agenda and rule of law struggles to logical and fruitful end.
The Financial Guru, Adelabu congratulated the good people of Oyo-State. “This is victory for our people at grassroots, congratulations to us all. Let’s bear with this situation, 2023 is around the corner and when it is the time, let’s speak progressively through our votes and save our state from the grip of these conservative elements”, he concluded.
