The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Oke Agbara English Assembly Ashi, Bodija, Ibadan, was filled with joy and celebration on Saturday, November 30, 2024, as Comrade David Oluokun and his wife, Mrs. Grace Abimbola Oluokun, were consecrated as Elder and Deaconess of the church.
The consecration ceremony, which took place at the church auditorium, was officiated by a team of ministers, including Pastor Adebiyi Adams, DCC Superintendent, Oke Imole DCC; Pastor Kinle Farayola, District Superintendent; Pastor Sam Olowere, Assembly Pastor; Pastor David Oyelakin, Associate Pastor; Lady Evangelist M.O. Olowere; and Lady Evangelist F. Mapur.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Prince Niran Adeyoju, President of Providence Coalition and APC chieftain in Oyo State; Asiwaju Omilabu Ghandi, former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government and Providence Coalition leader; Oloye Haruna Adebayo, leader of Providence Coalition; and Pastor Adeniyi Ajani Possible, Secretary-General of Providence Coalition.
Other notable guests included Senator Teslim Folarin, who was represented by his media aide, Comrade YSO Olaniyi Elodyper; Mr. Kehinde Mosope of FRCN Ibadan; Elder and Deaconess Olawuyi; and family members and friends of the consecrated couple.
The consecration of Comrade Oluokun and his wife, Mrs. Grace Oluokun, marks a significant milestone in their spiritual journey and demonstrates their commitment to serving Lord Jesus Christ and the church.
