Senator Buhari Trains 250 Constituents in Agribusinesses, Urges Beneficiaries to Make Best Use of Opportunity, Gives Start Up Package of 100,000 Naira to Each Beneficiary

Distinguished Senator Buhari Abdulfatai of Oyo North Senatorial District has facilitated another landmark training for 250 constituents on Agribusinesses and opportunities.

The training organized by Federal College of Freshwater and Fisheries Technology, New Bussa is holding at Igboho City Hall, Igboho in Oorelope Local government area of the senatorial district.

Senator Buhari in his address delivered by Hon.Adeyemo Adedeji Abiodun charged the beneficiaries of the three-days training to utilize the knowledge acquired to improve their economic status and become employers of labour to boost the overall Gross Domestic Product of the nation.

While acknowledging the current hardship Nigerians are facing, Senator Buhari disclosed that training of such nature will avail Nigerians opportunities to improve their standard of living.

He stated that the 250 beneficiaries will receive a start up package of 100 thousand naira each and certificate of participation at the end of the three days training which started on Wednesday 4th September and shall end on Friday 6th September, 2024.

Earlier in his lecture, The Lead Speaker at the training, Dr. Taofeek Owoseni groomed the participants in areas that included: Accessing Funds for Small Businesses, Sales and Marketing of Agricultural Products, Farm Records and Book keeping, Packaging, Labelling and Branding of Agricultural Produce and Legal Issues and Types of Ownership.

Reacting to the opportunities given through the training, a beneficiary from Iseyin Local government, Mrs Monsurat Muibi Romoke lauded the lawmaker for giving her and other constituents privilege to participate in the training.

According to Mrs Muibi, she has been exposed to greater opportunities through which she can become economically independent to cope with the present challenges in the country.

Another participant, Mr Mubasiru Alani from Saki West Local government area of Oyo North thanked the facilitator and the organiser of the training. He hinted that the training has helped him with new opportunities to be a successful business man in the area of Agribusinesses.
