Photos: Senator Buhari, NDE Empower Another Set of 150 Women in Oyo North

Another set of 150 women carefully selected from 13 local government areas of Oyo North have completed a three-day training and gone home with a sum of 50 thousand naira each, among other packages.
The training that started on Wednesday, January 24, and ended today, January 26, 2024, was facilitated by the Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai, in conjunction with the National Directorate of Employment.
During the training held at Ogbomoso Parapo Hall, Ogbomoso, the participants were trained on entrepreneurship and ways to sustain small and medium-scale enterprises.
Speaking on behalf of Senator Buhari at the event, Hon. Abiodun Adeyemo Obadoba charged the beneficiaries of the empowerment to make the best use of their newly acquired skills and knowledge to improve their businesses.
He also advised them to utilise the 50 thousand naira each of them got to improve on their enterprises so that the aim of having self-reliant constituents of the Legislator could be achieved through them.
The senator pledged never to relent in his efforts to expose the people of Oyo North to opportunities that are capable of turning their lives into greater ones.
He added, “I rejoice with all the beneficiaries and pray that the knowledge you have acquired through this empowerment training will go a long way in making you a self-sufficient constituent of our Senatorial District.”
