Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has bagged prestigious award of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN).

The conferment of the award took place on the sidelines of the engagement that the founder of Coalition Movement for Bola Ahmed Tinubu(COMBAT), Sen. Akanbi had with the Association of Professional Bodies in Nigeria, Oyo State chapter, ahead of February 25 presidential polls and which took place yesterday, in Ibadan.

While giving his brief acceptance speech, Akanbi thanked ICAN leadership and dedicated the award to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his victory, come February 25.”I feel so honoured and humbled to receive this prestigious and uncommon ‘Merit Award’ today the, 11 February 2023 from The institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. I sincerely appreciate ICAN leadership for this honour bestowed on me and I dedicate the award to my great leader and mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and by His Grace, to his landslide victory, at presidential polls, come February 25. So Shall It Be. To GOD be the GLORY.

While reacting to the conferment of award on Okanlomo of Ibadan Land, COMBAT Coordinator in United Kingdom(UK), Prince Gboyega Aderolu (ROLU 1) described Sen.
