It is too early to forget about the February 2023 Presidential election. It is our job as concerned citizens and committed APC Party members to give a reminder.
Statistically, APC polled 36% while the combined opposition of PDP, LP and NNPP polled 64% . This shows that the magic wand will have to wave earnestly in order to bring succour from the harsh economic condition the majority are facing.
In as much as the courage to get the economic turnaround has been shown, the ability to give a befitting reward system is paramount. Any Ministerial nominee that is inclined to opposition party may put the state party people into a depression.
The speculation of a Ministerial nominee, a learned fellow in person of Alh Ahmed Raji who is a relative of the country Chief Judge can be seen as a stain of dirt on a white plate. This is tantamount to giving room for a negative say to the 64% of opposition voters that it is a ploy to influence the election petition ongoing at the Presidential election tribunal.
A core Politician who shall be embraced by the party at large. The same person shall be a bridge builder who is with capacity to unite the warring factions in the state chapter. The President must not sacrifice the party members who stood by him during the election for a relatively unknown person.
Without a shadow of doubt, we strongly believe that our President is the best man for the job. The Political base shall need to be considered and be made happy before a key decision is made.
The next election preparation starts now.
