President Tinubu Appoints Ajimobi As SSA on Livestock Development
President Bola Tinubu has appointed Hon. Idris Ajimobi, son of the former Governor of Oyo State, as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Livestock Development.
The appointment, announced by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), is aimed at enhancing the country’s agricultural potential, particularly in the animal husbandry sector.
The move follows the inauguration of the Presidential Committee on Implementation of Livestock Reforms and the establishment of a new Ministry of Livestock Development.
As SSA, Ajimobi will coordinate and liaise on matters related to livestock development, supporting the President’s vision to spur sustainable economic growth, create industries and jobs, and resolve farmer-herder conflicts.
The appointment is effective immediately, and Hon. Ajimobi is expected to work closely with the Presidential Committee and the Ministry of Livestock Development to achieve the administration’s goals in the sector.
