“Therefore, the attitudinal change within the structure to rejig the situation for the better is sancrosanct. The likes of the late Hon. Olaide Akinremi are very rare and few in Nigeria’s political terrain. It is my prayer that this rare gem and political ‘whizkid impressario'” is reproduced in his thousands for the benefit of mankind, Dr. Olamide Junaid enthused.
“As a matter of necessity, the late Hon. Olaide Akinremi’s legacy of relentless service to humanity should be sustained beyond leaps and bounds. The constituents of Ibadan North LGA shall gain better from this legacy in all fronts.
Junaid urged all the members of the Akinremi political caucus to unite and shun all forms of acrimony and bitterness among them. “Rather, they should consolidate on the gains of the late political prodigy to better the lot of the constituents.
Junaid prayed to God to give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
While concluding, Dr. Junaid urged the party leadership to remain united more than ever before, with the significant objective of winning the forthcoming bye elections in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency and a record landslide victory in 2027. “We can’t afford to fail.” She emphasised.
