Progressive Parliamentarians Pay Tribute to Prince Olaide Akinremi
Oyo State Progressive Parliamentarians, the umbrella body for all progressive honourables from 1999 till date, has expressed shock on the death of Prince Olaide Akinremi, an incident which occured early hours of yesterday.
This is contained in a condolence message signed by the Chairman, and made available to the newsmen by the Public Relations Officer(PRO) of the group, Hon. John Olaleru.
“We received the news of our valued brother and esteemed colleague, Hon. Olaide Akinremi’s death with shock, heaviness of heart and deep sorrow in a total submission to Allah’s will.
“He will be sorely missed as a very fantastic fellow who has rendered quality representation, empowered people and meritoriously served humanity.
“His style of politics and genuine commitment to his people at his constituency and beyond really attracted him to many people”
“We commiserate with his immediate family members, Ibadan North Federal constituency which he represents at the Federal House of Representatives, political associates and our great party, the All Progressives Congress during this time of grief so devastating for everyone”.
“To the entire National Assembly and in particular the Federal House of Representatives of which he was a staunch member, always advocating for democratic values and quality benevolent representation, please accept our heartfelt condolences with prayers that Allah’s protection will be on the rest of us”
“We pray that Almighty Allah grant the bereaved family fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and we pray that may Almighty Allah grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus “, Comrade Bolomope said.
